Well. I acted like it was Europe
(even the chilly air helped).
I can’t say I was the joy of the party after 3 days of working around 12 hours because of ZAWWW.
I did sample a few things though. (kept a menu to remember). Food with very long names is not really what I’m used to. But as a food addict- any food goes down. And I loved what we had.

The LA belle Terrasse Prawn Spice cakes with Vietnamese cucumber salad which was simple but at the end I caught a chilli and bearly broke my elbow trying to get a drink to wash it down.
The Oliva Bar & Kitchen’s Baby Spinach Gnocchi with the Tomato Chilli sauce. A friend commented that it was not as good as Tortellini‘s, but I couldn’t tell, I’m not really a fan of Gnocchi anyways. The texture is a bit pasty for me.
Orbit had a stand as well with smoothies made partly of ice and well, coconut. I had a very bittersweet strawberry, coconut, yogurt (and some other stuff) smoothie which I enjoyed next to my pancakes.
After the more avante GArde food we moved to the more, simple foods. We sampled Olives, and PANCAKES, the Snowflake stand had some great muffins and pancakes, the apple and custard Pancake seemed to be a healthy favourite.
The festival uses Crowns as it’s currency and they can only be bought in R100 bundles, but the boyfriend and I bought a few of the tasting glasses with our extra crowns
(first set of glasses I own).
