I actually have tons more pictures of this walk (and of Cape Town) but I’ve decided to do my assignments early this year and have been trying to focus on that. As a result, it wasn’t serious at ll, we messed around, posed awkwardly and spent most of the time catching up (because we’re girls). I got quite a few good pictures of the iconic Brenda Fassie statue outside the Bassline, but was a bit disappointed to see that the mike was missing, I hope that it had broken off and not been stolen. We took our photo’s, and rushed off to eat at about 4pm (I was STARVING). The casual pictures that were taken aren’t really in my mission statement this year, but I had so much fun taking them and I guess I didn’t realise how much I loved just taking photos, no pretense. Going back to that made me realise that sometimes we neglect the things we love for things we feel we need to do.
